Besides the engine, one thing of note is the gearbox, since there are also two different versions available. First there is the Lancer Evolution MR, which has a 6-speed Twin Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (aka as a TC-SST). The GSR version will have a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Evo 10 will also benefit from Mitsubishi's new AWC system, which has already been used and proven in older versions. This particular system (the Super All Wheel Control) uses torque vectoring technology to send different amounts of torque to the rear wheels.
All in all, whichever version you choose, the Evolution is definitely not a slow car. The range-topping FQ-400 does the 0-62mph sprint in 3.8 seconds, and has an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
