Throw all subtlety aside, this machine is part of the very definition of the American muscle car. Built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors, the Corvette C6 is one lean, mean brute with the looks to match.
There are several incarnations of the C6, with the Z06 being blessed with the biggest engine of the range - a whopping 7.0L small-block codenamed the LS7, which produces 505hp.
Some performance figures you ask? Car and Driver did a few tests in March 2007, resulting in a 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds, and a quarter mile done in 11.8 seconds (at 122mph). And with a top speed just on the happy side of 200mph, we can be sure that this is one quick car.
