It really doesn't matter from which angle you look at the Gumpert Apollo, every part of this car just screams "speed". It is truly supercar material, so much actually that a Ferrari or a Lamborghini would seem like a wise and sensible purchase instead.
Alas, this may be the last we see of the Gumperts, as the company is in a bit of trouble. Let's hope founder Roland Gumpert is able to find the much needed finances to keep his company alive. After all, the Apollo has already made quite an impression: a 7 minutes 11 seconds ring lap, and a feature on Top Gear where it did a 1:17.1 track. The only ones to do beat said track time? The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, the Lamborghini Aventador, the McLaren MP4-12C and Ariel Atom V8 - not bad company I'd say.
The Gumpert Tornante has made the list of cars-to-post, for now here's the Apollo.
